Automotive Blockchain
At the end of 2018 I started an ambitious project to create the automotive blockchain. Thus, the new KMS (kilometers) token was born.
The project was presented at the IE Alumni Automotive Club on April 25, 2019 and caught the interest of some automotive players in the second half of 2019. However I had to drop it at the end of 2019 for two main reasons:
- Not being able to attract enough investors.
- The legal difficulty of creating the first DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization)in Spain in 2019.
In case this changes in the future or it could serve as a basis for another project, here I publish the project report in PDF. Also available in Spanish.
Executive summary of the project
We are going to capitalize information of the automotive sector. Giving value to underutilized information and increasing the value of already capitalized information.
To do this, we will create a digital information market for all parties in the automotive sector, where we consult information, digitally sign contracts, make payments and deliver data. All this in an autonomous way with no human interaction required. The contracts signed will have legal validity.
It is of interest to any entity in the automotive sector that either buys and / or sells data or simply has information it is currently not exploding, and wished to capitalize its data in a simple legal and automatic way.
It allows you to do business with all parties in the sector, even if they do not know each other.
This will decentralize the power of the information, returning it to its creator.
